Entertainment Partners, a payroll and production services company with offices in nine other states, announced February 18 that it was expanding into North Carolina. The company will provide both payroll and procurement services and will be based at EUE Screen Games Studio in Wilmington.

The Directors Guild of America selected Alex Moratto, a 2010 graduate of the School of Filmmaking at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem, to receive its Best Latino Student Filmmaker jury award for his student film “The Other Side.”
