Triad Stage in Greensboro has received a $10,000 grant and been named one of the Top 10 Most Promising Theaters nationally to have emerged in the last 15 years by The American Theater Wing, the creator and sponsor of the Tony Awards.

A new family-oriented series, “The Rusty Bucket Kids,” will begin airing on Raleigh-based CBS affiliate WRAL-TV this month. The show is filmed in Apex, North Carolina, and features children who travel back through time in American History to meet teenagers who later become some of America’s greatest historical heroes.
